2007年我的最大件事當然是bb Aerin的出現. 由一個極憎細路的人要變成好媽媽, 初初都幾擔心. 不過乖巧的bb Aerin 待我很好, 多月來都無為難我.
2007年基本上放了成半年假, 最初會想自己一定錯失一些機會. 不過放假後, 人亦放鬆了. 難得有一班好同事, 令我好安心地放假, 現在要返工反而不慣呀. 還有很多朋友不論在香港外國都送了很多禮物給我和bb Aerin, 不論是否物輕, 都一定情義重. thank you!! 2007年是我收穫最大的一年, 希望這樣的好運會永遠照耀住我
my first day of work on friday, it was a bit hard as i havent left home for so long time in a day. i miss my bb and i miss my holiday!
we shaved bb aerin's hair on thursday. it's a pity coz i really like the way her hair standing up, makes it her signature hair do. now she looks like a monk, and the head seems a lot rounder and bigger than before. the same day i went to extend my hair, i hope bb wont be mistaking me for stealing hair from her
congrats to cathy, she just delivered a 3.6kg boy!
Happy new year!! it was the first 'home staying' new year eve since we've been together, we used to hang out with friends or at least go for a movie on the last night of the year and countdown together, but this year we've changed, there's a little one at home that we need to look after therefore we cooked at home and watched fireworks from tv. andrew said the best gain of 2007 was little aerin, well i agree its the most 'significant' gain for the year, she really brings us lot of fun and love! the new year 2008 we celebrate with BABIES, aerin's new friends! we've a baby party today, it was only about a month from the last gathering, and the babies' sizes have grown so much! aerin has all the new stuffs on her today, she's wearing a cute ginger bread outfit lewis sent us from NY with wendy's mom's 'warm mark' pink cardigan, it made her a great outfit and she has a new car seat to sit on too! thanks for all your gifts, we really appreciate them
sitting in the middle of the 'big' girls, she seems so small and looks as if she's bullied by them, so funny!
went to harbour city in the morning for photo taking, we've never bothered to take photos with the trees and decorations in mall before but this year we go early just to avoid the crowd, this is also the first time we go to mall together.

Since i'm still on leave and have some free time, i was thinking to apply a passport for bb aerin altho we're not likely to travel with her in very near future. so i followed the instruction from the consulate's website:
The photos must be 2" X 2" (5 cm X 5 cm) with a white background.
Please make sure your child's eyes are open in the photo. One way to do this is to drape a white sheet over one (sitting) parent, who also holds the baby's head and neck upright under the sheet. The other partner takes the photo. A second way is to place the child on a white blanket on the floor and take the photo while standing over him/herotrait
there i took many photos, with her sitting upright position, yet none is really usable
bb aerin is already 2 months old! she's now 59.5cm long and weights 4.97kg. she smiles sometimes and still cries when she wants to call us, she starts cooing too, she'll response to you when you talk to her, she loves camera. and even trying to roll herself from center to the other side!
Andrew bought me, well its actually us a new camera, a more 'advanced' camera. its for me to take more photos of bb Aerin as she's still so little, he wants me to record every cutie moments NICELY. i'm not professional in photography at all altho i like to take snap shots all the time and pick up usage of gadgets easily. now i need to study and practice everyday with it, and will have a lesson (dinner) with another Andrew next week. hope he can help me to utilize the functions there. some photo samples of my new practice.see the first 2 pages for some new photos :
The speakers finally arrived, he ordered it 2 months ago, before bb was born. i've no interests in how nice the sounds are but i'm sure it's a nice decoration at home!

This is our 10th 'dating anniversary' but there's no special celebration 'anymore'...instead we went to our first baby party. We usually go to whereever there is a new born, and this time should be our turn but since most of them live in same area so we went to Michael's home, his daughter is only 2 days older than Aerin. There're 4 babies at the party and the oldest was only 8 mons, so actually its an adult party but with kids. Aerin is the tiniest among all babies as she's also the youngest but looking at picture, she doesnt look too small even she's 2 lbs lighter than the 2 days older girl next to her.
Chu sir is leaving HK and will be working in London for 5 years, this maybe our last gathering before he leaves. wish him all the best in London with his family!

bb finally has got a name, Aerin! we imagine a 'cool and independent' girl when we hear this name and hope our b will be like that as she grows
after Aerin's 1st month birthday, we both are 'officially' free from staying home. went to visit Aerin's great grandma yesterday, grandma was so happy to see her altho she cant really figure out who exactly this little lady is.
got my belated bday present yesterday, i wldnt annoy him for buying gadget to me this time coz i hv been using my old phone for 1.5yrs
time flies, 1 month has passed, today is bb's first month birthday and i can still remember every scenes happened in the hospital a month ago ...the first sight i saw she, it was definitely not a love at first sight. a little confession to make, the first feeling to her was not excited, happy, but a bit disappointed how come she doesnt look as i pictured? she's not pretty at all. when sister, bro and in-laws came that night, they were so excited taking pics of the b, and my sis-in-law suddenly transferred the baby's photo and set as my mobile phone's wall paper...i secretly thought 'no need gwa, i want my hello kitty wall paper instead' and dare not to speak it out. the next day in the nursing room, the nurse handed me my baby, i looked at her...she's the exact baby i saw yesterday with the exact face, how come people could mix up babies?? they all have unique faces! though i had no feeling about the baby, i thought 'there u're, i'll be you mom and we'll be together'. all new moms in the nursing room were so affectionated, they all, 90% if not all talk to their babies!!! but it really seemed stupid to do baby talk, you know you talk to yourself and no one is answering. but since everyone was talking, i started to talk a bit too and of coz my baby didnt response to me. don worry, after 1 month's 'training', i'm now very used to talking to the air and already accepted this little stranger as a part of my family, i found her very cute at some points, and of coz also frustrating when she cries, but... i start to love her
